Programme Outline
Over the past 30 years there has been an increasingly extensive set of rules placing obligations on employers to prevent discrimination in the workplace. We will be discussing the development in the area of protection against discrimination, the roles and responsibilities of manager in preventing discrimination at work. This course will cover the impact and effect of the anti-discrimination legislation in the workplace, including issues such as reasonable adjustments, the protected characteristics and potential personal liability attached to managers

Programme Objective
Delegates will learn about the protected characteristics and how they are determined. The programme will provide practical guides to preventing workplace discrimination and harassment, and identify the need to make reasonable adjustments. Delegates will become more confident in managing discrimination and harassment in the workplace.
